The first The Academy Is... record was a great great album. So it is good to note that they have raised their game. With MCR and FOB smashing into the mainstream, it seems that The Academy Is... are next and boy do they deserve it. There are so many tunes here that they spill out as soon as you slide the CD into the player. 'Everything We Had' is absolutely beautiful and 'Bulls In Brooklyn' stomps along like the greatest pop band you never heard. Yes, catchy is the word to use here, they have not sold out, rahter they have matured and realised that they have the ability to write great tunes, and if that is wrong, who wants to be right?
