Vince knows best…

Every wrestling fan in the world knows the name of Vincent Kennedy McMahon. Joining the family business, he grew from commentating to taking over the entire industry, crushing the competition and making Sports Entertainment one of the most successful genres in the television world.

Yet, as this DVD shows, there are in fact two McMahons – Vince McMahon, the man, appears throughout talking through the history of the business and the various confrontations down the years (yes, there is an extensive section on the Montreal Screwjob…) and also about his onscreen and in-ring alter-ego, Mr McMahon.

Watching Mr McMahon go to work and get his ass comprehensively kicked by not only members of his own family but also the biggest names in the game is highly entertaining especially his long running feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin. There are interesting interviews with his wife Linda, beautiful daughter Stephanie and proud son Shane, all of whom have also grappled with the maniacal Mr McMahon.

The two hour documentary is brilliant and packaged together with some stunning extras – nine complete matches from a trio of Austin/McMahon treats to the classic bloodbath that was the Buried Alive match versus The Undertaker.

You might hate Mr McMahon but after watching this collection, you’ll no doubt have great respect for the real Vincent Kennedy McMahon and everything he has done to ensure the WWE remains the real king of the ring.
